Add2Exchange “Relationships”
A relationship is made when you choose a “source” folder that can be public or private and a “destination” folder that can be public or private. When a new item (contact, task, appointment) is made in the source folder, it is copied to the destination folder. This allows you to instantly share and duplicate new contacts, appointments, or tasks from the source folder into the destination folder. You can choose how to update items easily. Now, whenever you update the source folder, the destination folder is updated as well. Add2Exchange even allows the two folders to work in unison so that when a change is made in one, it automatically appears in the other. This allows for both “one-way” and “two way” synchronization.
One-way synchronization:
Source folder → (Modification to Data) → destination folder.
When a contact in the source folder is edited, the destination folder is automatically updated however, edits made to the destination do not affect the source folder, and are overwriten when a change is made to the source folder.
Two-way synchronization:
Source folder ↔ (Modification to Data) ↔ destination folder.
If a contact in the source folder is edited the destination folder is automatically updated. If the contact in the destination folder is edited, the source folder is automatically updated.
